Haller students collect pet food and supplies for NOAH
Haller NOAH DonationLast month, Haller Middle School students collected pet food and supplies to benefit the NOAH Animal Adoption Center in Stanwood. During the two-week supply drive, students gathered pet food and supplies, including potty pads for puppies, toys, pill pockets, and leashes. Haller Leadership students delivered the food and materials to NOAH on April 23.

“We want to instill in our students the importance of giving back to the community,” said Haller Eighth Grade ELA and Leadership Teacher Terri Stanton. “This pet food and supply drive showed the students they can each make an impact in our community.”

Haller eighth grader Lily Andrich proposed the idea of the pet and supply drive. Andrich has a great love of animals. For her 10th birthday in lieu of gifts, she asked family and friends to donate to NOAH.

“I’m so proud of Haller students, families and staff for gathering hundreds of items for NOAH,” said Andrich. “It feels amazing to help the animals.”
