Instructional Framework
Arlington Public Schools established an Instructional Leadership Academy in 2010 to begin the process of choosing our instructional framework for evaluating certificated staff. The purpose of this team was to identify and communicate research-based instructional practices to be developed and used district wide for improving student achievement. The state provided three research based instructional frameworks from which districts could choose. Arlington has chosen the Charlotte Danielson framework.

Teacher Evaluation
All teachers will be evaluated based on this framework with the goal of improving student achievement by creating stronger instructional strategies and practices.
