Jake is the likely recipient of many accolades and awards, and here is why: He is the type of young man that we want leading our community. Over the four years I have watched Jake as a student and athlete at Arlington High School, he has proved himself time and again as genuinely solid of character, authentically kind, and naturally gregarious. Jake cares about people. From watching him take care of his teammates, to dancing with one of our life skills students at Senior Dinner Dance, Jake cares about and really sees others. He is connected to the AHS community and helps to build it. I cannot imagine that his friends could wish for better. Jake Willis encompasses all the aspects of character, drive, community, and citizenship that I want for every graduate of Arlington High School. Our future is in good hands with Jake.
