LogoArlington Public Schools and Arlington Education Association (AEA) bargaining teams reached a tentative agreement this evening for their teachers’ contract. “Thank you to the teams for engaging in this challenging work and reaching a tentative agreement,” said Arlington Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Chrys Sweeting. “We can now move forward and focus on our number one purpose – student learning. I look forward to a great year where together we will cultivate growth in learning for each Arlington student.”

“We are excited to reach a tentative agreement with the District after months of negotiations,” said Jason Klein, AEA President. “We would like to thank the Arlington community for their patience in this process.
